Description
- Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants and business partners to expand ShopeePay’s acceptance network.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure continued engagement and collaboration.
- Work with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to design and implement merchant-focused campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
- Support contract negotiations, deal structuring, and agreement finalization with partners.
- Assist in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new fintech products and services.
- Monitor key performance metrics and generate reports to measure business impact and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to product and operations teams to enhance ShopeePay’s offerings based on merchant and user needs.
- Stay updated on digital payment trends, fintech regulations, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, with availability to start work full-time in 2025.
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or fintech (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for fintech, digital payments, and e-commerce.
- Experience in sales, merchant acquisition, or account management is a plus.
