Partnership Manager

The role of the Partnership Manager is pivotal in leading the strategic management of the bank’s partner accounts with a primary focus on customer acquisition, customer experience and value enhancement, and the successful implementation of cross-sell initiatives within our partner ecosystem. The key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Ownership:
    • Assume overall responsibility for partnership accounts, ensuring measurable success in both retail and MSME customer acquisition, ascertained by customer adoption metrics, and superior customer experiences, quantified through engagement scores and cross-sell deliverables.
    • Identify growth opportunities by addressing gaps in our product/platform offerings and exert influence on partner features and support roadmaps to reinforce a secured and efficient ecosystem.
  • Project Development:
    • Collaborate extensively with internal and external partners to meticulously translate overarching strategies into tangible frameworks, policies, processes, and service delivery models, systematically tracked through comprehensive roadmaps and milestones.
    • Vigilantly ensure that all products within the partnership adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Market Analysis and Expansion:
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to pinpoint potential avenues for growth, collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders within the team to escalate acquisition, usage, and upsell opportunities within the partner ecosystem.
    • Foster a close working relationship with Product, Business & Marketing teams to actively explore and drive new initiatives and product launches.
  • Networking and Partnership Building:
    • Continuously fortify and expand a robust professional network within the market, consistently exploring and capitalizing on new partnership opportunities.
    • Methodically manage partnership agreements within the confines of the regulatory and legal frameworks, working in tandem with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Data and Legal.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop comprehensive budgets, meticulously project targets, and judiciously assess the Return on Investment (ROI) of partnership deals.
    • Determine, communicate, and track key deliverables, ensuring performance alignment in service and distribution across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years in Partnership or Business Development roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strategic Acumen: Possess a strong strategic mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a nuanced understanding of third-party business integration.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Display the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, contributing positively to collective goals and projects. Embrace open communication and actively engage with colleagues to leverage diverse perspectives and skills for optimal partnership outcomes.
