Maybank Islamic will be rolling out a Shariah-compliant credit card with a fixed 14% profit rate and non-compounding charges.
The Maybank Islamic Nadi Mastercard Credit Card-i will be open for applications in October 2026 through the MAE app, Maybank2u and Maybank branches nationwide.
The card is aimed at Malaysians who want a simpler credit product for everyday spending.
It comes with no annual fee and a fixed profit rate of 14% per annum.
The fixed profit rate differs from tiered structures used by some credit cards, where rates can rise to 18% per annum.
Cardholders will also have access to Maybank’s wider cards ecosystem, including over 1,000 merchant privileges across the region.

Dato’ Sri Khairussaleh Ramli, President and Group CEO of Maybank, said,
“Nadi Mastercard Credit Card-i reflects the purposeful innovation we seek to champion – simple, values-driven solutions built around what customers truly need.
As the pulse of everyday financial lives, Nadi is designed to broaden responsible access to credit in a way that is accessible, affordable and meaningful.”

Mohamad Yasin Abdullah, Group CEO of Islamic Banking and CEO of Maybank Islamic, said,
“Nadi Mastercard Credit Card-i embodies our commitment to Humanising Financial Services by providing greater predictability and peace of mind in everyday financing.
This card is designed to support responsible financial management by eliminating complexity and giving customers greater certainty over their financing costs.”
