Capital A announced that its President for Commercial Colin Currie will be holding dual roles as he has also been appointed as the CEO of airasia Digital.

Additionally, Head of Investments John Cheing was appointed as the CFO for airasia Digital and airasia Super App effective 1 March.

Both appointments are in line with Capital A’s plans to scale up its digital business portfolio which includes travel and lifestyle platform airasia Super App as well as fintech portfolio BigPay.

The airasia Super App is a one-stop travel, e-commerce and fintech platform that offers its 51 million users over 15 lines of products and services.

Meanwhile, neobank BigPay offers payments, international transfers, micro-insurance, personal loans, savings and smart budgeting on its app.
