BigPay, the digital financial services arm of Capital A Bhd, has announced its expansion to Thailand.
The e-wallet provides services ranging from saving for trips to making seamless payments worldwide, and real-time currency exchange at competitive rates.
The expansion was marked by an event featuring Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A and Executive Chairman of MOVE Digital, Zubin Rada Krishnan, Group CEO of BigPay, Apirudee Prachyaset, Country Head of BigPay Thailand, and Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE.
BigPay offers a Visa Virtual card and a Physical Visa Platinum Prepaid card, enabling users to sign up digitally and make payments at over 130 million merchant locations globally, both online and in stores, as well as withdraw cash from overseas ATMs.
Features like ‘Stash’ and ‘Roundup’ help users save, while the Spending Analytics feature provides spending insights.
New BigPay users can enjoy up to 555 baht in discounts and cashbacks when booking AirAsia flights, earning up to 4x AirAsia points for various deals.
Additionally, users can redeem a special discount of 388 baht when purchasing the Asean Explorer Pass by AirAsia MOVE, allowing them to redeem AirAsia flights across ASEAN for a year.
