Hata, a licensed digital asset exchange in Malaysia, has introduced three new digital assets to its platform: Worldcoin (WLD), Cosmos (ATOM), and Polkadot (DOT).
With this move, Hata joins MX Global as one of the few Malaysian exchanges offering Worldcoin, providing users the ability to trade, send, and receive WLD.
Worldcoin, developed by Tools for Humanity and co-founded by Sam Altman, the creator of ChatGPT, is a digital identification platform that helps verify human identity, distinguishing it from bots and AI.
The platform employs cryptographic and blockchain tools for its digital passport system, making it a unique addition to the digital identity space.
Meanwhile, Cosmos, represented by the ATOM cryptocurrency, facilitates the development of new blockchain applications and enhances the security and performance of existing networks.
Polkadot, with its DOT token, links different blockchains, enabling data and value transfer between networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum. DOT is used for staking and governance.
With the addition of WLD, ATOM, and DOT, Hata now lists 14 cryptocurrencies on its Malaysian platform.
Hata has also recently introduced an affiliate programme, offering users a 30% share of the trading fees generated by their referrals.
The digital asset exchange has licenses from both the Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia and the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA)
David Low, CEO of Hata, shared about the launch of Worldcoin trading,
“This allows Malaysians to explore and diversify their digital asset portfolios in a regulated environment.
Worldcoin, Cosmos, and Polkadot are also available on its global platform, which serves users worldwide and is licensed by the Labuan Financial Services Authority.”
