TNG Digital is introducing TapSecure, a one-tap approval feature set to replace SMS One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for Touch ‘n Go eWallet Visa Card online transactions.

Effective 17 March 2025, this upgrade enhances security while providing a faster, more seamless payment experience.

With TapSecure, users can authenticate transactions effortlessly with a single tap within the TNG eWallet app, eliminating the need for traditional OTPs.

This integrated approval process not only streamlines payments but also mitigates security risks, such as phishing attacks and SMS interception malware.

As a result, users benefit from quicker, more secure approvals for all Touch ‘n Go eWallet Visa Card transactions.

To further enhance security, TapSecure links transaction approvals to a single registered device, ensuring only the authorised user can approve payments.

Each TNG eWallet account can be linked to only one device at a time, preventing unauthorised access and strengthening account protection.

To ensure uninterrupted approvals, TNG eWallet users are encouraged to enable notifications in
