GXBank has opened applications for the second cycle of its Impian Gigih Biasiswa, a scholarship programme aimed at supporting financially disadvantaged students pursuing undergraduate studies in Malaysia.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, living allowances, accommodation, and other education-related costs.
It also includes opportunities for personal development, such as overseas immersion, skill-building courses, and internships with GXBank.
In its first year, eight students from various parts of Malaysia were awarded the scholarship to study in key academic fields.
GXBank said the programme reflects its ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion and social mobility through education.
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens aged 22 or below, with a household income of RM8,000 or less per month.
They must be applying for a full-time undergraduate programme at a Malaysian public university and have a minimum CGPA of 3.30 from STPM, A-Levels, Diploma, Matriculation, Foundation, or equivalent qualifications.
Applicants should not be receiving other scholarships or financial sponsorships.
Submissions, which include a short essay on community aspirations, close on 30 June 2025.
