TNG Digital has partnered with HR solutions provider Kakitangan.com to enable salary payments directly into employees’ TNG eWallet accounts.
This offers an alternative for workers without access to traditional bank accounts.
The integration allows employers using Kakitangan.com to disburse salaries in bulk through the DuitNow Bulk Transfer system.
Each TNG eWallet user is assigned a DuitNow account number, enabling them to receive payments from any bank or eWallet provider in Malaysia.
The solution is especially relevant for migrant workers and others who face barriers to opening bank accounts.
Recognised by the Jabatan Tenaga Kerja Semenanjung Malaysia (JTKSM) as a compliant salary account, the TNG eWallet gives users immediate access to their income and tools to manage their money digitally.
This includes making payments, transferring funds, remitting money overseas, and withdrawing cash using the linked Touch ‘n Go eWallet Visa Card.
Kakitangan.com, which serves over 10,000 businesses, said the collaboration enhances its ability to support companies with automated, compliant payroll systems while extending services to employees who prefer or rely on digital wallets.
TNG Digital said more than two million foreign workers currently use its platform.

Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital shared,
“We’re excited to collaborate with Kakitangan.com to make salary payments more accessible to all workers in Malaysia.
Financial inclusion has always been at the heart of our mission, and with this partnership, TNG Digital and Kakitangan.com will be able to address the real pain points of individuals who lack access to traditional bank accounts by providing them with a secure and accessible salary solution through the TNG eWallet.”

Effon Khoo, Director of Kakitangan.com shared,
“We’re excited to partner with TNG Digital — a platform we trust — to make comprehensive payroll offerings even more inclusive and efficient in the digital banking era.
With the integration between Kakitangan.com and TNG eWallet, we can now better support Malaysian SMEs whose employees prefer digital wallets, enabling them to receive salaries in a timely, automated, and secure manner.”
