Tune Protect Group has launched CyberSafe, a digital protection service developed with BOXX Insurance, a global cyber risk specialist.
The product is aimed at connected travellers and is now available across the EMEIA and Asia Pacific regions.
CyberSafe is designed to address risks such as phishing, identity theft and data breaches, which have become more common when people are on the move.
It provides users with real-time alerts, incident response support, identity monitoring, threat intelligence and educational content.
The service is accessible through Tune Protect’s B2B portal and API for travel agents and online travel agencies, with prices starting at US$4 (about RM17).
The product is available as a standalone or optional add-on service, reflecting demand for integrated digital solutions in travel.
It also forms part of Tune Protect’s strategy to expand its regional footprint and offer vertically integrated, value-added services.
Tune Protect operates in more than 30 countries with close to 50 insurance partners, including six airline collaborations, and said the launch strengthens its global travel ecosystem.

“CyberSafe is a key milestone in our mission to provide comprehensive and relevant protection beyond traditional insurance.
By embedding cyber safety into our travel insurance ecosystem, we are offering added value to digital-first consumers, including remote professionals and tech-savvy travellers who require integrated, always-on protection,”
said How Kim Lian, Group Chief Executive Officer of Tune Protect.

“Our partnership with Tune Protect marks a bold step towards making cyber protection as essential as travel insurance.
Travellers today face digital risks at every turn, from unsecured public Wi-Fi to phishing scams. CyberSafe provides the confidence and security they need to navigate their journeys safely,”
said Milan Naik, President of BOXX Insurance, Asia & Middle East.
