TNG eWallet has introduced its new Visa Travel Card, aimed at Malaysians who frequently spend overseas.
The card is a Visa-branded prepaid product linked to a user’s e-wallet balance and supports worldwide payments and ATM cash withdrawals via the Visa Plus network.

The Travel Card includes one free international ATM withdrawal per month, after which a RM10 fee applies.
By comparison, the Basic Card charges RM10 for each international ATM withdrawal.
The Travel Card offers up to 3% cashback on overseas spending, versus up to 1% on the Basic Card, which is positioned for everyday local use.
Each user can hold only one TNG eWallet Visa Card at a time, and applying for a Travel Card will disable and replace an existing Basic Card.
Applications are available in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app to Malaysian residents aged 12 and above who have completed eKYC.
Both the Basic and Travel Cards carry an annual fee of RM8, waived for the first year and billed one year after application.
The Travel Card has a one-off RM15 launch application fee, while the Basic Card costs RM10, with a separate shipping fee applying to both.

The Visa Cards work at selected tolls and selected train networks, unlike the physical Touch ’n Go Card which supports tolls and mass transit more broadly.
Both Visa variants feature a numberless design, global acceptance, an exchange-rate calculator, parking support, and full control via the TNG eWallet app.
