TNG Digital has added an EV charging feature to its e-wallet, allowing drivers in Malaysia and Singapore to find, activate, and pay for charging across multiple charge point operators through one app.
Powered by Voltality, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beep, the new feature connects users to various EV charging networks without requiring separate operator apps.
Payments are processed directly through TNG eWallet, with automatic deductions and near-instant refunds for any unutilised balance, without the need for card entry, separate top-ups, or multiple accounts.
The service currently provides access to more than 6,000 charging points across 1,700 locations in both Malaysia and Singapore.
Users can start a session by selecting a location from the in-app map or scanning the charger’s QR code, plug in to charge, and receive an automatic payment confirmation and digital receipt within TNG eWallet.

The launch supports Malaysia’s Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint (LCMB) 2021–2030, which targets 10,000 EV charging stations nationwide by 2025.
As of September 2025, over 4,100 charging points have been installed.
TNG Digital has been an early mover in digitalising the EV ecosystem. Its earlier partnership with DC Handal made TNG eWallet the first to enable QR payments on contactless charging terminals.

Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital, said,
“As EV adoption grows in Malaysia, many drivers still juggle multiple apps just to charge and pay. We’re removing that friction. This one-of-its-kind in-app integration gives EV drivers a unified experience across networks, all through one app.
We’re starting with KINETA, EVlution, and Zura Charge, CHARGE+, RExharge, Powered By RISE, and JusEV Charging Network, together with major operators in Singapore such as SP Mobility, CDG ENGIE, EV Mobility, and MNL Asia, with additional partners in the pipeline to further extend coverage and convenience.”
