Fiuu has rolled out Tap to Pay on iPhone in Malaysia, allowing its merchants to accept contactless payments with only an iPhone and its Virtual Terminal app.
The service lets merchants accept contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and other digital wallets without needing a separate payment terminal.
Customers can complete a payment by holding their card or device near the merchant’s iPhone, with the transaction processed through NFC technology.
The Malaysia launch follows Fiuu’s rollout of Tap to Pay on iPhone in Singapore in December 2025.

“The future of commerce is not about choosing between online and offline payments, it is about enabling both seamlessly.
With Fiuu VT iOS app and Tap to Pay on iPhone, we are giving merchants a true omnichannel payment experience that enables their customers to pay through their preferred channels, including Apple Pay.”
said Eng Sheng Guan, CEO of Fiuu.
Merchants can enable Tap to Pay on iPhone within minutes through the Fiuu Virtual Terminal iOS app.
The service is available on iPhone 11 or later with the latest version of iOS.
Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the device’s built-in security and privacy features to help protect customer and business data.
Card numbers and transaction information are not stored on the device or on Apple servers, although encrypted card numbers may be temporarily stored on the iPhone for transactions made in Store and Forward mode.
