Boost has upgraded its Boba AI platform to allow customers to complete banking tasks through chat and voice interactions.
The fintech company is expanding Boba AI from customer support to task execution, enabling the platform to guide users through account onboarding and bill payments.
The platform can guide users through opening a Boost Bank account, completing electronic know-your-customer verification and paying bills.
According to the company, this setup is intended to reduce the need for users to navigate multiple screens or wait for human assistance during routine banking processes.

“AI is moving beyond simply answering questions to actually getting work done,”
said Sheyantha Abeykoon, Group CEO of Boost.
“Our agentic AI can now execute everyday banking tasks such as onboarding new accounts, completing bill payments and resolving customer enquiries directly within the experience.”
Boba Voice, a 24-hour AI voice service, is now available through the Boost Bank hotline. The service is capable of understanding customer intent and aims to resolve enquiries autonomously.
Since its introduction in May 2026, Boba Voice has managed 90% of incoming customer enquiries.
The company reported that over 80% of these interactions were resolved without escalation to a human agent, while waiting times dropped to as little as three seconds.
More than 30,000 customers have interacted with Boba AI across the Boost application since January 2026, generating nearly 100,000 requests.
Customers can access multilingual support across both the Boost and Boost Bank applications.
Users can complete bill payments within the chat interface by retrieving real-time outstanding balances.
Boost is offering users more than 1,000 Boost Stars through selected Boba AI missions, such as paying bills or opening a Boost Bank account, which can be redeemed for vouchers.
Boost is also deploying these AI capabilities internally.
Employees use a centralised platform to automate routine tasks and support decision-making across marketing, operations and administration.
