Eligible government pensioners can receive their payments through TNG eWallet when they cannot access them through their existing bank accounts.
TNG Digital is supporting a Public Service Department initiative that provides an alternative to conventional banking channels.
This includes pensioners whose accounts have been frozen or restricted, including after they fall victim to financial scams.
Eligible pensioners who select TNG eWallet under the initiative may also apply for a fee-waived TNG eWallet Visa Card.
The card is linked to their TNG eWallet balance and can be used for cash withdrawals at ATMs and payments at Visa merchants worldwide.

TNG Digital Chief Executive Officer Alan Ni said,
“Financial inclusion is about ensuring no eligible pensioner is left without access to the pension payments they depend on. We are honoured to support this initiative by providing eligible pensioners with a secure and accessible alternative payment option through TNG eWallet.
The fact that more than 3.4 million senior Malaysians already use TNG eWallet gives us confidence that digital financial services can be both accessible and inclusive.”
TNG eWallet requires users to complete electronic identity verification and includes biometric authentication, device binding and a Kill Switch.
The platform also operates a dedicated fraud support hotline.
