CTOS Digital has launched a new app that lets consumers check their credit records, monitor their scores and receive alerts about possible identity misuse.
Users can view their Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) information, repayment history, active credit facilities and legal records.
They can also track monthly changes to their CTOS Score and compare it with others in the same age group or of the same nationality.
CTOS SecureID sends alerts about potential dark web exposure, new credit applications, credit limit changes and address changes.

Business credit reports are also available through the app. Users can obtain a concise overview for preliminary assessments or a more comprehensive report covering a company’s financial statements, directors, shareholders and litigation history.
CTOS CreditFinder also allows consumers to compare credit products from different providers based on their features, benefits and fees.

“Our strategy is to reposition CTOS from a credit bureau that supplies reports to a trusted intelligence platform that supports decisions. “Our digital ambition is to bring the capabilities we have across the Group into one place. This all new app is the first step in progressing towards digital transformation.
For individuals, it means being able to see where they stand in-terms of credit exposure, understand what is influencing their credit score and act early against potential identity misuse. In addition, users can also monitor their outstanding balances and late payments, all in one convenient dashboard.”
said Ankur Sehgal, Group Chief Executive Officer of CTOS Digital Berhad.
CTOS currently serves more than five million consumers in Malaysia through its digital platform.
The CTOS Score and personal and business credit reports are provided by CTOS Data Systems, a registered credit reporting agency under Malaysia’s Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010.
The new CTOS app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Existing users can continue using their current accounts with their account history retained.
