In a world where everything from food to finance can be done with a tap, it’s natural to wonder: why is buying a car still so complicated?

Despite the rapid rise of digital banks and fintech apps reshaping how we manage money, vehicle financing has stubbornly remained stuck in the slow lane.

That’s exactly the gap Tras sets out to close.

A proud member of the DRB-HICOM Group, Tras is Malaysia’s first specialised digital automotive financing platform built to modernise how people finance their car purchases.

Where most digital financial institutions focus broadly on e-wallets, savings, or investments, Tras focuses on being the best in one thing: automotive financial services.

And it’s changing how Malaysians think about affordability, and peace of mind on the road.

Reimagining Car Financing for the Digital Age

For decades, getting a car loan has been a test of patience. Endless paperwork, multiple bank visits, and days of waiting for approval make for an experience that feels anything but simple.

Tras flips that experience on its head, allowing you to use its services anywhere and anytime.

Its platform allows anyone to not only apply for car financing but even understand what car they can actually afford before setting foot in a showroom.

With its CarCulator tool, Tras recommends cars that fit their budget — creating more financial awareness on what makes the most sense for your wallet.

It’s more than just a loan application tool. It’s a smarter, more transparent way to approach car ownership.

Why Tras Is Different from Other Digital Financial Institutions

While digital banks promise simplicity, few focus on the complexities of vehicle financing, which requires coordination between banks, dealerships, insurers, and customers.

Tras doesn’t just digitise the process. It connects the ecosystem, acting as the bridge between financial institutions and the automotive industry.

For buyers, Tras provides a simple and secure experience – allowing you to apply to multiple bank partners through a single secure platform and compare financing options from anywhere and anytime.

For dealerships, it means simplified workflows and digital tools that help close sales quicker.

And for banks, Tras offers a reliable digital channel to reach pre-qualified customers quicker.

In short, Tras brings everyone onto the same digital highway; fast, secure, and transparent.

Affordability, Confidence, and Peace of Mind

Buying a car is one of the biggest financial decisions most Malaysians make.

Tras understands that, and its platform is designed not just to make financing easier but also give greater peace of mind.

Through its Extended Warranty Program (EWP), customers enjoy added protection well after their purchase.

The EWP ensures the use of 100% genuine parts, near identical coverage to original manufacturer’s warranty, and nationwide coverage at authorised partner service centres.

The warranty is also tied to the car (not the driver) – which means that its transferable: boosting resale value, and requires no inspection for activation.

For just a few extra ringgit per month, car owners can drive with complete peace of mind.

It’s all part of Tras’ bigger vision to make car ownership not just possible, but sustainable and worry-free.

The 11.11 Special Rates Campaign: EV Ownership Made Smarter

In a move that reflects its commitment to making car ownership simpler and smarter, Tras has partnered with Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) to launch the 11.11 Special Rates Campaign.

The initiative blends trusted banking with digital convenience, offering Malaysians an easier, more rewarding way to finance their next vehicle.

Running from 11 to 30 November 2025, the campaign presents a limited-time opportunity for buyers to enjoy attractive financing rates available exclusively through the Tras digital platform.

It is designed to empower customers with greater choice, transparency, and confidence when making one of life’s biggest financial decisions which is purchasing a car.

Customers who submit their financing applications through the Tras Portal during the campaign period can access special interest rates starting from 1.98%, applicable to both premium internal combustion engine (ICE) models and electric vehicles (EVs).

The rates are among the most competitive in the market, reflecting Tras’ ongoing effort to create real financial value through fintech innovation.

To learn more about the campaign and its eligibility criteria, visit the Tras website and experience a new way to own your car.

    From Fintech to Fast Lane

The rise of digital financial services is changing how Malaysians save, spend, and invest.

Yet, when it comes to helping Malaysians get a car, few have truly solved the puzzle of convenience, transparency, and affordability.

Tras is doing exactly that, simplifying financing, empowering smarter decisions, and giving every driver the confidence to move forward.

So, whether you’re looking to finance your first EV or your next family car, Tras is your digital co-pilot, helping you discover what you can afford, secure your financing seamlessly, and stay protected long after you’ve driven off.

Because the future of car ownership isn’t just digital. It’s Tras powered, where innovation meets the open road.
