Malaysians Can Now Invest in ASNB Unit Trusts through Touch ‘n Go eWallet

TNG Digital and Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) have partnered to allow Malaysians to invest in ASNB unit trusts through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. This is said to be the first time that an e-wallet has offered this service.

Through this partnership, Malaysians can subscribe to all 17 ASNB unit trusts through the GOinvest feature in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. This complements the 9 unit trusts that are currently available on GOinvest.

New users will have access to their ASNB account through the e-wallet once they have completed the online registration via the MyASNB app. Then they will be able to subscribe to new funds for both own their account and dependents.

Meanwhile, existing ASNB unitholders will be able to check their total investments, view a breakdown of ASNB unit trusts, and review the last 5 transactions for each invested fund.

The ASNB unit trusts are available for all Malaysians as an account can be opened even for newborns through ASNB kiosk or over the counter at any ASNB and agents branches. Accounts can also be opened online through the myASNB app for Malaysians who are 18 years old and above.
