Maybank has announced that its Classic Maybank2u online banking website will be discontinued for individual customers effective 9 June 2025.
After this date, individuals will need to use the current Maybank2u website for all online banking services.
Certain functions on the classic site will cease operations earlier.
The third-party account transfer service will be unavailable from 12 May 2025, followed by the interbank fund transfer service discontinuation on 19 May 2025.
Customers are directed to use the current Maybank2u website at maybank2u.com.my for their online banking requirements.
The bank stated that existing login credentials (username and password) will remain valid on the current platform.
Furthermore, any previously arranged scheduled or recurring payments and transfers will continue to be processed as usual.
This change does not apply to Maybank2u Biz customers, who may continue accessing the classic Maybank2u site for their business banking transactions beyond the specified date.
