Kevin Lee has been named the new Country Head and CEO of Curlec by Razorpay Malaysia, a Malaysian payment solutions company owned by India-based Razorpay.
Lee confirmed his appointment this week, marking a new chapter after his recent departure from GHL Systems.
He previously served as the CEO for GHL Systems Malaysia from June 2009 until recently, a tenure spanning nearly 16 years.
His departure from GHL follows the acquisition of a majority stake in the company by Japanese IT firm NTT DATA.
With over 18 years of experience in the payments and fintech sector, Kevin brings industry expertise and strategic insight to lead Curlec’s next phase of development.
He has overseen the implementation of e-payment infrastructures across ASEAN, the Middle East, and Africa, with experience spanning international business development, product strategy, sales, and partnerships with payment networks and fintech companies.
As Country Head, Kevin will oversee efforts to expand Curlec’s digital payment solutions for businesses in Malaysia, enhance the Curlec Payment platform’s capabilities, and support financial inclusion initiatives.

“Kevin’s deep-rooted industry experience, combined with his proven ability to lead large-scale digital payment innovations, positions him perfectly to drive Curlec’s next phase of tech-driven product innovation.
His leadership will be instrumental in advancing our vision to build cutting-edge, future-ready payment solutions that will redefine how Malaysian businesses and consumers experience digital payments.”
said Shashank Kumar, Co-Founder & Managing Director of Razorpay India.

Kevin Lee, Country Head, Curlec by Razorpay said,
“I’m thrilled to join Curlec at a time when technology is redefining the future of payments and finance in Malaysia, and I look forward to driving cutting-edge innovation in the digital payments space.
Curlec & Razorpay’s commitment to innovation and empowering businesses resonates deeply with me. I look forward to working with the fantastic team at Curlec, building on this strong foundation, driving meaningful growth, and making digital payments more seamless and accessible for businesses of all sizes across the country.”
The leadership transition at Curlec Razorpay comes shortly after Zac Liew stepped down as CEO earlier this month, having led the company for seven years, including through its acquisition by Razorpay.
