The Living History Project (TLHP), a non-profit digital museum focused on documenting Malaysia’s cultural heritage, has launched a blockchain-based fundraising campaign in partnership with crowdfunding platform pitchIN.
The campaign introduces the Sejarah Token, a utility token built on an eco-friendly public blockchain, enabling the public to own, contribute to, and interact with heritage content in new ways.
Tokens are priced at RM0.10 with a minimum investment of RM200 and are offered under the Securities Commission Malaysia’s Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) framework via pitchIN’s regulated platform.
The campaign aims to raise between RM1 million and RM5 million. Funds will be used to enhance TLHP’s digital infrastructure, create new heritage content, and establish an NFT-based publishing house to recognise notable Malaysian contributions.
TLHP leverages tools such as virtual exhibitions, augmented reality, interactive storytelling, and digital archiving to make Malaysia’s cultural narratives more accessible.
The collaboration with pitchIN marks the country’s first tokenised social enterprise campaign.
The initiative is supported by partners including the BEW Foundation and the Malaysian Heritage Trust.

Bobby YP Wong, Founder & CEO of The Living History Project, said,
“The Sejarah Token marks a revolutionary step in preserving Malaysia’s cultural heritage, making it possible for every Malaysian to own a piece of our history and contribute to its preservation for future generations.”

Nicholas Chong Ing Hooi, Head of Token Crowdfunding at Pitch Platforms, said,
“pitchIN is honoured to partner with TLHP on this trailblazing initiative.
This fundraising effort is a first-of-its-kind, showcasing how blockchain can be used to drive community engagement for a noble cause—in this case, the democratisation of heritage preservation. Invest in the Sejarah Token today and become part of a historic movement.”
