LexisNexis Risk Solutions has launched a new Asia Pacific (APAC) data centre in Malaysia to strengthen its digital identity and fraud prevention capabilities across the region.
The facility will process data for key markets in North Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia, improving the speed and stability of digital services for local customers.
It complements the company’s existing cloud hosting facility in Australia and its first APAC data centre in India, which opened in 2023.
Designed based on the company’s existing global data centres, the new facility enables regional clients to access the LexisNexis Digital Identity Network, which analyses more than 300 million transactions daily across 180,000 websites worldwide.
By routing data locally, the centre helps speed up transaction processing while allowing businesses to distinguish between trusted users and potential threats in real time.
The system integrates behavioural intelligence from LexisNexis BehavioSec to strengthen digital identity verification.
The Malaysian facility complies with international security standards, including ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II, and applies regional maintenance schedules to reduce downtime for APAC users.

“Speed and reliability in digital identity verification and fraud prevention are critical for businesses across Asia. Our APAC data centre brings the global Digital Identity Network closer to regional customers to deliver improved performance and stability.
This expansion exemplifies our commitment to empowering businesses in Asia to thrive confidently, keep their business and consumers safe and remain competitive in the digital economy.”
said Thanh Tai Vo, Director of Fraud and Identity, Asia Pacific, at LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
