CGC Digital and Credit Bureau Malaysia are exploring new credit risk tools to help Malaysian MSMEs prepare for financing.
The companies signed a MoU to combine CGC Digital’s digital reach with Credit Bureau Malaysia’s credit information and risk analytics capabilities.
The partnership will examine the development of credit risk models and analytical solutions that could provide a clearer view of MSME needs and support financing decisions.
Both organisations also plan to run education and outreach initiatives to help business owners understand their credit position and the support available to them.

“Many MSMEs struggle not just to access financing, but to understand their own credit position and what support actually fits their business.
By pairing CBM’s credit insights with the reach of our digital platforms, we can help more business owners see clearly where they stand and take practical steps to become financing-ready.”
said Yushida Husin, Chief Executive Officer of CGC Digital.
“By combining CBM’s credit analytics capabilities with CGC Digital’s extensive MSME ecosystem, this collaboration reflects our shared ambition to strengthen entrepreneurship, unlock greater economic value and contribute to a more inclusive and resilient Malaysian economy,”
said Soo Chin Kang, Chief Executive Officer of Credit Bureau Malaysia.
CGC Digital is the fintech subsidiary of Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia, while Credit Bureau Malaysia is a licensed credit reporting agency.
