M+Global, the digital investment platform by Malacca Securities, is encouraging more Malaysians to take their first step into investing with its latest Headstart campaign, offering eligible new customers RM50 cash with their first deposit of RM1,000.

For those looking to start with a larger amount, eligible new customers who make a first deposit of RM5,000 and maintain it for 30 days can also qualify for free Alliance Bank shares worth approximately RM450, subject to campaign terms and conditions.

Launching on 1 November 2026, the campaign aims to encourage greater retail participation in Malaysia’s capital markets, combining attractive welcome rewards with access to local and international investment opportunities, research insights and personalised support.

    A Headstart for New Investors

Investing has become increasingly accessible, with digital platforms making it easier than ever to open an account, explore different markets and access investment information.

Yet, for many Malaysians, taking that first step can still feel daunting.

M+Global’s Headstart campaign seeks to make that decision a little easier by offering tangible incentives for new customers to begin their investment journey.

Under the campaign, eligible new customers can receive an RM50 cash reward by making a qualifying first deposit of RM1,000 and maintaining it for 30 days.

Alternatively, they can receive free Alliance Bank shares worth approximately RM450 by making a qualifying first deposit of RM5,000 and maintaining it for the same period.

Both offers are subject to their respective eligibility requirements and campaign terms and conditions.

Beyond the initial rewards, customers can explore investment opportunities across Bursa Malaysia, the US and Hong Kong markets through a single platform.

The campaign reflects M+Global’s broader focus on encouraging retail investment participation, while making the investing experience more accessible and approachable for Malaysians.

Beyond the First Deposit: Investing with Greater Confidence

While attractive rewards can encourage investors to get started, M+Global believes that what happens beyond the first deposit matters just as much.

With investment information readily available across financial news, social media and online communities, investors today have access to more information than ever before.

However, having more information does not necessarily make investment decisions easier.

For M+Global, this is where guidance continues to play an important role.

Through its Expert Zone, customers can access market insights, research and stock ideas from the platform’s in-house research team, helping them better understand market developments and investment opportunities.

Licensed dealer representatives are also available to provide assistance, while the M+Global Concept Store in KL Eco City offers a physical touchpoint for customers who prefer face-to-face support.

Together, these services reflect M+Global’s philosophy of Trust, Access and Guidance, combining the convenience of digital investing with the human touch.

It is an approach captured in the platform’s tagline, “Less Guessing, More Guiding”.

Building on More Than Six Decades of Market Experience

Behind M+Global’s digital capabilities is Malacca Securities, an established Malaysian stockbroking firm with a history dating back to 1963.

Over the decades, the company has evolved alongside the capital markets, combining its stockbroking experience and industry knowledge with modern technology to meet the changing needs of investors.

Today, Malacca Securities serves over 300,000 customers and operates across two core business areas: Stockbroking, including its digital investment platforms, and Corporate Finance, established in 2020 to support companies in their capital market activities and corporate exercises.

M+Global was also recently recognised as Best Malaysian Securities Platform at the PC.com Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, reflecting recognition from consumers and readers.

As Malaysia’s investment landscape continues to evolve, M+Global remains focused on making investing simpler and more accessible without losing the experience, relationships and guidance that have long been part of the stockbroking industry.

    Making the First Step Count

The Headstart campaign is part of M+Global’s continued efforts to encourage more Malaysians to participate in the capital markets.

While the RM50 cash reward and complimentary Alliance Bank shares provide attractive reasons to get started, M+Global’s longer-term ambition extends beyond customer acquisition.

The platform aims to build lasting relationships with investors by providing the tools, market insights and support they need as their investment knowledge and financial goals evolve.

For Malaysians considering their first investment account, Headstart offers an opportunity to explore investing with a platform that brings together digital convenience, market expertise and accessible guidance.

For more information on the campaign, eligibility requirements and applicable terms and conditions, visit M+Global’s official website.
