Versa, a digital wealth management app used by nearly 300,000 Malaysians, has launched a new feature called Versa Quests.
This feature aims to make saving more rewarding by offering users the chance to earn extra returns through completing simple in-app tasks.
With Versa Quests, users can participate in various challenges to earn “booster rewards” which increase the returns on their savings accounts.
For example, the Super Invest Quest allows users to earn an additional 1.0% per year by investing in eligible Versa Invest funds.

The launch was attended by notable figures including Tengku Arif Temenggong Tengku Fahad Mua’adzam Shah of Pahang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation YB Chang Lih Kang, and Versa ambassador Khairy Jamaluddin.

Versa’s ambassador Khairy Jamaluddin said,
“I myself use Versa. I invested, meaning I save my money in Versa and many products in Versa are Shariah compliant, so this increases confidence, especially among Muslim investors in Malaysia.”
Teoh Wei-Xiang, CEO of Versa, said,
“We’re thrilled to introduce Versa Quests to our users, offering a great way to make saving fun and rewarding. This marks our first step in evolving from a transactional platform to an experiential one. With these booster rewards, our users can effortlessly maximise their savings.
Just two days ago, a lecturer from University Malaya shared his Versa Quests result with me, expressing his excitement about achieving more than 9% p.a. nett returns in just a month.”
