CTOS Data Systems has partnered with Maybank Islamic to roll out a fresh approach to digital banking through a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) model.

SME Asia reports that this initiative is designed to provide Shariah-compliant financial solutions to SMEs and retail consumers, aiming to simplify access to banking services tailored to their needs.

This collaboration leverages CTOS’ expertise in credit assessment and risk management while integrating Maybank Islamic’s Shariah-compliant banking solutions.

The objective is to empower businesses and individuals with improved financial literacy, enable digital financing adoption, and introduce exclusive incentives that encourage participation.

Among the benefits offered to SMEs, the program provides the first 10,000 applicants with free CTOS Company Reports and a complimentary two-month subscription to the CTOS Credit Manager, which includes RM250 cashback.

Additionally, SMEs opening an SME First Account-i and registering via the Halal2u platform on Maybank2u’s website can receive halal certification facilitation services worth RM5,000.

Retail consumers are also set to gain from this initiative. Those purchasing a CTOS Score Report by April 30, 2025, will be eligible for Maybank Islamic’s banking products along with promotional rewards.

Qualified banking products under the campaign include the Maybank Islamic Savings Account, Ikhwan Mastercard Gold and Platinum Card-i, myimpact Ikhwan Mastercard Platinum Credit Card-i, and World Elite Mastercard Ikhwan.
