NTT DATA has signed a multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as enterprises accelerate cloud migration and AI deployment.
The partnership combines NTT DATA’s cloud and AI capabilities with AWS infrastructure to modernise mission-critical workloads.
It also supports the rollout of AI-driven and agentic solutions across regulated and high-growth sectors, including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, the public sector, manufacturing, retail and energy.

Abhijit Dubey, President and CEO of NTT DATA, said,
“Through our strategic collaboration agreement with AWS, we are helping clients move beyond experimentation to scale AI impactfully and responsibly.
This collaboration underscores our commitment to deliver secure, industry-specific solutions that create tangible business value for our clients worldwide.”
The collaboration will focus on large-scale cloud migration using AI and automation, as well as the development of industry-specific cloud solutions on AWS, including offerings built on NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud platform.
It will also cover AI and data services for managed operations and customer experience platforms, along with digital sovereignty initiatives through the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
As a launch partner for the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, NTT DATA will deliver cloud services designed to meet data residency and regulatory requirements for European governments and enterprises.

Greg Pearson, Vice President of Global Sales at AWS, said,
“This collaboration will help more enterprise organisations unlock the potential of the cloud and AI to modernise their operations and accelerate innovation.
Through industry-aligned architecture platforms, AI-driven customer experiences, and support in meeting evolving regulatory requirements through the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, we’re enhancing the ability to transform legacy workloads and build modern digital experiences on AWS.”
NTT DATA has formed a dedicated AWS Business Group aligned with AWS sales and delivery teams.
The group includes close to 11,000 AWS-certified professionals and plans to certify nearly 10,000 more over the next three years.
NTT DATA said the collaboration has already been applied in client projects, including Honda Trading Asia, which migrated its systems to AWS with NTT DATA’s support.
The company plans to develop new industry-focused cloud and AI solutions on AWS through its Industry Cloud platform, covering areas such as core banking systems, healthcare data platforms, public sector digital services and manufacturing operations.
