HLB Private Bank will give eligible private banking clients in Malaysia direct access to global private equity and private credit funds.
The bank plans to launch the Global Private Equity Fund-of-Funds II and the Private Markets Evergreen Income Fund.
The funds will offer exposure to global fund managers, infrastructure credit, private infrastructure, intellectual property royalties and other private market assets.
HLB Private Bank unveiled the offerings at its Private Markets Summit 2026 in Malaysia.
It cited projections that global private market net asset value could reach US$25 trillion by 2030.

Jeffrey Yap, Managing Director and Regional Head of Wealth Management at HLB, said,
“As a bank, we see ourselves as partners to our clients, empowering them to grow their wealth and diversify their portfolios in a robust and sustainable way. By providing direct access to private markets, this represents the key differentiating factor we strive to provide our clients.
It is the essence of what we hope will provide our clients with a new lens, new horizons, and new ways of unlocking opportunities to diversify into portfolios that were previously reserved for only the world’s largest institutional investors and pension funds.”
