iMoney has launched the Bahasa Malaysia version of its free credit score tool, iMoney Credit Score. The tool which was launched in late 2018 was initially available only in English.
According to their press release this free tool will offer consumers a simple snapshot of their financial standing with personalised tips on how to improve their credit health and get access to savings from credit products.
“Whilst there has been significant growth in signups since we first launched iMoneyCreditScore in late 2018, we still see the opportunity and need to reach out to and encourage more Malaysians to check their credit score and financial health.,” said Mitul Lakhani, CEO of the iMoney Group.
Encouraging Malaysians to sign up and check their credit scores regularly, is a crucial first step in helping them understand their financial health and setting them on the right path towards making better financial decisions. Enabling this free tool in Bahasa Malaysia will definitely widen the net to educate more Malaysians to become more financially literate.
While this is far for the first free credit check available in Malay (with players like CTOS also offering similar checks) any effort in promoting healthy financial behaviour is a net gain for Malaysia as whole.
