CIMB has unveiled OCTO Biz, a new digital platform aimed at helping sole proprietors, SMEs, and corporate clients simplify banking, secure financing faster, and expand across ASEAN.
The platform was launched alongside SME FlexiCash/-i, a revenue-based financing solution designed to give small and medium enterprises easier access to working capital.
CIMB OCTO Biz combines banking services and business management tools in one platform, building on the user experience of CIMB OCTO for retail customers.
Users can monitor cash flow, manage transactions, and access trade, treasury, and foreign exchange services.
Powered by AI and data-driven insights, it supports cross-border payments and provides real-time analytics to improve operational visibility.

Lawrence Loh, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Group Commercial and Transaction Banking, CIMB Group said,
“CIMB OCTO Biz brings together banking insights and business tools in a single ecosystem, allowing businesses to manage operations effortlessly, access financing seamlessly and make smarter, data-driven decisions.
Operating more than just a platform, CIMB OCTO Biz serves as a catalyst for ASEAN businesses to scale with confidence across local and global markets.”
Following its debut in Malaysia, the platform will be rolled out in Indonesia and Singapore by the first half of 2026, with Cambodia and other ASEAN markets to follow.
SME FlexiCash/-i, embedded within the app, uses account and transaction data to pre-qualify businesses for financing limits without lengthy application processes.
Repayments are tied to a percentage of revenue, offering a flexible option for firms with variable income and reducing the strain of fixed instalments.

Novan Amirudin, Group Chief Executive Officer of CIMB, said,
“We see banking as a strategic enabler of growth, transformation and financial inclusion. Our focus is to equip businesses and communities with capabilities and insights necessary to navigate a dynamic economic environment.
The launch of CIMB OCTO Biz underscores this commitment by delivering secured, seamless, inclusive and future-ready financial solutions that support sustainable business expansion across ASEAN and beyond.”
CIMB said more than half of its SME clients have onboarded OCTO Biz, which has recorded RM17 billion in value across 7 million transactions this year. The full suite of features is expected to be available by the end of 2025.
As part of its Kita Bagi Jadi campaign, the bank will also introduce fully digital account opening for sole proprietors and SMEs by year-end, allowing faster, easier, and fully digital onboarding without branch visits.
CIMB OCTO Biz is available via web and mobile, and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
