CTOS has appointed Ankur Sehgal as Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), effective 3 March 2026.
Ankur has 20 years of leadership experience in digital banking, product and strategy, retail credit, risk management, and data and analytics.
He has worked across Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the United States, with a track record in building digital businesses, scaling financial institutions, and developing risk management frameworks and credit ecosystems.
He currently serves as Senior Managing Director, Digital Business at CIMB Bank Malaysia and sits on the Board of Directors of CIMB Bank Cambodia, where he oversees the bank’s regional digital business and strategy.
Previously, Ankur was Chief Business & Strategy Officer at CIMB Bank Philippines. During his tenure, he contributed to the bank’s development into a leading digital institution.
His work included building end-to-end digital products, developing ecosystem partnerships, establishing alternative credit decisioning, and implementing AI-driven collections and fraud systems.
He also advanced the bank’s data and analytics capabilities.
Before joining CIMB, Ankur held senior roles at AmBank Group Malaysia, OCBC Bank Singapore, United Overseas Bank Singapore, and JP Morgan Chase.
His responsibilities included leading teams in risk management, credit, collections, fraud operations, data and analytics, IFRS9, scorecards and portfolio management.
He also delivered one of Malaysia’s largest retail debt-sale transactions and implemented credit infrastructure and risk-based strategies across the region.
